About NotebookBloom
NotebookBloom is an independent Chrome extension built by Shaojie for people who use NotebookLM for research and serious study.
Why I built it
I kept running into the same gaps: NotebookLM could explain a source but not produce a usable bibliography, generate flashcards but not move them into Anki, and organize each notebook while offering no search across the full library. NotebookBloom started as a way to remove those manual steps from my own workflow.
What it does
The extension adds citation export, a BibTeX bridge to Zotero and Mendeley, Anki export with source attribution, cross-notebook search, bulk source import, folders and tags. The guides on this site explain both the manual workflow and the extension-assisted route, including the limits neither an extension nor NotebookLM can remove.

How data is handled
Notebook content stays in the browser. Optional sync uses the user's own Google Drive. NotebookBloom does not run a database containing users' notebooks, sources or study cards. See the complete privacy policy for details.
Independent and actively maintained
NotebookBloom is not affiliated with Google, Zotero or Anki. Because NotebookLM changes over time, the extension and its documentation are tested and updated as the product evolves.
